Why did you create Meal Deals?

We created Meal Deals to help people save time & money and get more value for their hard earned money. Meal Deals also helps restaurants an innovative and SAFE (Simple, Affordable, Fast, Easy) marketing ingredient to serve success for their restaurant. Searching for deals and savings is time consuming and inconvenient. So many sites are littered with unhelpful information and irrelevant ads, and it’s only the larger businesses who can afford to regularly advertise. We created Meal Deals to allow users an easy way to save time & money and get more value for their hard earned money when going out. Quickly & conveniently find Daily Specials, Buy-one Get-one deals, Happy-Hours & Drink Specials, Birthday Deals, Date Night / Prix Fixe, Coupons, and MORE near you. Everyone loves saving money, especially when it is as easy as a quick tap on your phone! Our restaurants have also been impacted by these increases. High commercial rents, increases in costs of food, and labour wages leave little to no budget for marketing. Plus most restaurant owners are busy running their restaurants, which requires a tremendous amount of daily work, and that leaves them with little time for marketing. So we also wanted to create an innovative marketing ingredient that would be SAFE (Simple, Affordable, Fast, and Easy) and serve success for restaurants!

Why don't I need to create an account or sign-up to use Meal Deals?

Meal Deals' founders were tired of having to create accounts on websites just to access some freely available and useful information. Most of these sites then share or sell your email and other user information, or constantly spam your inbox. They didn't want Meal Deals to do that. Meal Deals doesn't even have an account creation option! We do allow users to register (if they want to) for our newsletters, or to be alerted of new deals.

We felt that a web app would be better suited for Meal Deals, especially with regards to the data, security, and privacy concerns that our founders wanted to ensure were addressed appropriately. AND, You can download Meal Deals as a Tile on your homescreen on your phone for truly 1 touch access to search for deals! If all or most of our Users request native apps for their phone, then we may consider, as our purpose is to help and serve you!
